What is hypnosis?

Have you ever been lost in a good book or movie? Have you ever driven someplace and not remember the trip? Then you have experienced hypnosis! Even though you may hear the work "sleep" related to hypnosis, it is really the exact opposite. Hypnosis is complete focus.

Expectations

How many sessions does it take?

Hypnotherapy is much more focused than traditional psychotherapy. Your personal results will vary based on factors such as your personal desire for the outcome and the nature of your issues. We will know more after your initial consultation.

The power and success of hypnotherapy increases with repetition, increased trust, and rapport. The first issue can generally be addressed in 4 to 8 sessions, with additional issue able to be addressed more quickly.

When will I start to see results?

The first 2 or 3 sessions are generally the time ot build and establish the relationship. You will learn how to enter the hypnotic state and use that to address your issues. Most people start to see results within 4 to 8 sessions, while those who are easily hypnotized may see results after only 1 or two visits.

What kind of results should I expect?

It is true that issues which have taken years to reach their current level and have resisted alternative attempts to address them are frequently able to be helped with hypnotherapy. Sometimes the results seem miraculous. However, hypnosis is not magic.

Results range from those who are able to address their issues 100% (rare) to those who find that hypnosis does not work for them at all (also rare). Most people experience significant improvements, beyond their expectations.
